Blueland Voluntary Carbon Market Disclosure

One Home Brands dba. Blueland provides the following information pursuant to California AB 1305, the Voluntary Carbon Market Disclosure Act (VCMDA) Sections 44475.1 and 44475.2.

Blueland has been certified by The Change Climate Project, formerly known as “Climate Neutral” since 2021.

A 501(c)3 tech nonprofit, The Change Climate Project leads a global movement of individuals and companies to eliminate carbon (C02e) emissions. One of its programs, The Climate Label, empowers consumers to find brands that are funding the climate transition. As the leading independent climate action label, The Climate Label can be found on millions of products worldwide.

To earn The Climate Label, Blueland is required to:

1. Measure cradle-to-customer greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions annually using GHG Protocol methodologies;
2. Establish and disclose near-term action plans to reduce GHG emissions; and
3. Purchase and retire verified carbon credits an equal amount of high quality, verified carbon credits and/or funds projects that cut their emissions and/or indirectly contribute to the global net-zero transition.

The Change Climate Project serves as the third-party certifier of Blueland’s climate claims, including emissions measurement, reduction commitments, and carbon credit retirement. However, Blueland’s GHG inventory has not been verified by an independent, accredited third-party verifier at this time.
